Sofwave pricing in Seoul
Written by the Delight Dermatology editorial team · Medically reviewed by Lead Dermatologist, Delight Dermatology Clinic (Korean Board-Certified Dermatologist, AAD International Fellow, ASLMS) · Last reviewedA Sofwave session in Seoul is priced in the low millions of won.The one figure this site can state with a source is the operator's own: Delight Dermatology Clinic publishes around KRW 2,000,000–2,200,000 per session, about USD 1,455–1,600 at the 28 August 2026 rate of roughly 1,375 KRW to the dollar. That is one clinic's published figure, not a survey of the Seoul market. It is a single-session price — not a package, and no course of sessions is assumed — and the exact total is set at consultation from the treatment area and the agreed plan.

What moves the number
- Treatment area. Full face, full face with submental and neck, or a single targeted area are different amounts of work. The clinic names this and the agreed plan as what sets the total.
- How much coverage the plan involves. The published trial protocols use roughly 150–200 pulses to cover both cheeks, with two to three passes per area. That figure comes from the literature, not from the clinic's price list, but it is the reason coverage and price move together at any clinic.
- What the examination finds. Skin thickness, laxity distribution and prior treatments change the plan, and the plan sets the price.
What the fee includes
The consultation and examination, the treatment itself, topical anaesthetic where used, and post-treatment guidance. It does not assume a second session; whether to repeat is a decision made at reassessment months later, based on how the skin actually responded rather than on a prepaid schedule.
How to read Seoul pricing without being misled
Seoul is a competitive aesthetic market, and price advertising here can be aggressive. A few things are worth checking on any quote, at this clinic or another:
- Ask which device, and what the plan covers. The same system can be run over a small area or a large one, so a figure quoted without the treatment plan attached is not yet comparable to another clinic's figure.
- Ask whether the quote is per session or per package. Packages can be reasonable, but they commit you before anyone knows how your skin responded.
- Be careful with very low headline figures. They often cover a smaller area than you are picturing, so ask what the figure includes before comparing it with another clinic's.
- Treat a guaranteed outcome as a warning. Nobody can guarantee an individual response to a collagen-remodelling treatment, and a clinic offering that guarantee is telling you something about its claims generally.
Currency and payment for international patients
Prices are set in Korean won. The USD figures on this page are an approximate conversion for orientation and move with the exchange rate; the amount charged is the KRW amount. International patients should confirm the current figure at the consultation rather than relying on any published conversion, including this one.
Where this sits against other treatments
Non-surgical tightening devices in Seoul generally cluster in the low millions of won per session, with real variation by device, area and clinic. Comparing them on headline price alone is misleading, because they do not treat the same tissue plane and are therefore not substitutes for one another. The comparison page explains why depth, not price, should drive the choice. If the examination concludes a different modality suits you better, the cheaper session is the one you should not have bought.
Confirming the current figure
The clinic's own Sofwave treatment page at Delight Dermatology carries the published range, and consultations are arranged through the parent clinic. A general enquiry about price can be made by messenger without sending any photograph.
