What moves the number

• Treatment area and plan. Ask whether the quote covers the full face, face with submental and neck areas, or a targeted area, and which plan has been agreed.
• Pulse and pass plan. A study by Suh and colleagues reported 150–200 pulses for both cheeks with 2–3 passes over the treated areas. These are study settings, not the clinic’s billing unit or a promised result. Ask how the proposed pulses and passes cover your treatment areas.
• What the examination finds. Skin thickness, laxity distribution and prior treatments change the plan, and the plan sets the price.
